Was superb: where else can you trot along a pasture wearing thousands of dollars in gussied western wear, eat, drink, and boot scoot in Ropers or Luccheses? This year’s event was a bit subdued — not as subdued as Cattle Baron’s 2001, which took place days after 9/11, when the planes were still grounded. Younger crowd, less money spent, and Lehman Brothers was a sponsor — unusual times, indeed. Details and photos forthcoming.

Lace is now popular in home fashions and well as the runway this season… we saw this gorgeous table setting in Traditional Home Magazine and loved the crisp white against deep blue. For a similar look, we created lovely blue wedding invitations using our Navy background card and white overlay, wrapped in an elegant floral lace belt for only 99¢ each, including envelope.
